Thank you for your comments 10mldef,
It’s great that you are so interested in science – is there a particular question you would like us to answer for you – either about science in general or forensic science in particular?
I think science is amazing too, it helps us to understand all the things we see around us and it is really just away of thinking. We don’t all have to be scientists but it is good to have some understanding of how science works and this is easier if it is explained simply and carefully to us. i hope we can do this for you.

      Hi 10mldef,
Thank you for your lovely comments.
Have you realised that what you’re doing is a bit of a scientific experiment itself? You are conducting an experiment where you are examining the response of different scientists to the same questions. You’re being thorough by asking us all, and you’re reducing the variables by asking the same questions. You could compile a results table to find out, for example, the most popular answer to your questions, the most frequent words used in the answers, the average response time, the gender/age/zone of the responders etc. You could draw graphs and everything!
I’m really glad you’re enjoying the experience. I am loving it too!

      Hi 10mldef,

I am so glad you like this site…. its pretty fab!

I am finding out so, so much too. The one thing about science is that you never stop learning.

      So keep at it!!

Hello 10mldef. Lovely to read your comments about ‘I’m A Scientist.’ I’m really glad you’re getting so much out of it. It’s always useful to read people’s feedback, so I’m glad to hear that you think the questions are being answered in a straightforward way. I hope you’ll be interested to know that we scientists are getting a lot out of this experience too. As Richard said in his answer, I’m also learning a lot and it’s been a great experience chatting to the other forensic zone experts and scientists from the other zones.

What excites me most is finding out about the areas of science that you students are interested in. Keep the questions coming in!!! 🙂

      Hello 10mldef,

It is excellent news that you are enjoying this programme, as Anna said you are kind of a key part in a very big scientific experiment. You are getting answers from many different scientists which you can compare their knowledge and even plan this against the time spent in forensics. I am glad that you happy with the speed and depth of the answers we are all getting a lot of experience from doing this programme to. I am learning about questions I never thought of asking. You are all asking very intelligent questions. Keep them coming in we are very proud.
