I have officially been a scientist for 6 years but unofficially it was when I received my first insect catching kit at about the age of 4. I studied insects for years catching and looking at them under the magnifying glass in the container (they were never harmed). What is your biggest passion hun?
Hi,
I think that being a scientist is a frame of mind, so I’d say I’ve been a scientist all my life. Science is a way of approaching the world – analysing little everyday things, asking questions – why does that happen? how does it happen? why does something else not happen? etc.
I’m not sure when someone officially becomes a scientist, at A’levels, university or when you start getting paid for it? I’ve been getting paid for doing forensic anthropology for 10 years.
